About the school
The Polish School of St. Stanislaus Kostka under the patronage of the Catholic University of Lublin John Paul II is a non-profit institution operating at the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Wallington. The school was founded in October 1980 by Fr. Felix R. Marcinek, Fr. Dr. Stanislaw Adamczyk, and Mr. and Mrs. Barbara and Jaroslaw Talarczyk.
History
The school plays an important role in Polish diaspora education, teaching the Polish language, history and geography of Poland, and preserving Polish traditions. In 2002, the school was placed under the patronage of the Catholic University, which allowed it to develop as a modern institution for learning Polish as a second language.
Educational offerings
The school offers classes from preschool to grade 9. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. It prepares students for certified exams such as the KUL, LOTE, and Seal of Biliteracy.
