About the Parish

St. Hedwig Church, established in 1904, is the spiritual center of the Polish community in Trenton, NJ. The parish was created in response to the needs of the rapidly growing northern part of the city, where access to existing Polish parishes was lacking.

Mass Schedule

• Monday and Friday: 8:00 AM (Chapel, in English)
• Wednesday: 7:00 PM (Chapel, in Polish) with Novena
• Saturday: 5:00 PM (Church, in English)
• Sunday: 8:00 AM (in Polish), 9:30 AM (in English), 11:00 AM (in Polish)

History

St. Hedwig Parish was founded in 1904 by Polish immigrants who settled in Trenton. The first pastor was Rev. Jan Supinski. The parish quickly became the center of religious and social life for Poles in the region.

Masses and other services are held in both Polish and English, reflecting the bilingual nature of the parish.
