Honoring St. Adalbert Day

PMA main Honoring St. Adalbert Day On April 23, we commemorate St. Adalbert Day, honoring one of the most important figures in early Polish history – św. Wojciech (St. Adalbert). A missionary bishop and martyr of the 10th century, St. Adalbert played a crucial role in the Christianization of Central Europe. His mission to the Prussians ended in martyrdom in 997, and his burial in Gniezno elevated the city to one of the most significant religious center of the early Polish state.PMA main Honoring St. Adalbert Day
