The PMA Celebrates Polish Flag Day and Polish Diaspora Day

On May 2, the Polish Museum of America marks Polish Flag Day and Polish Diaspora Day – two occasions that celebrate national identity and the global Polish community. Established in 2004, Polish Flag Day honors the white-and-red national colors, a symbol of unity and pride. On the same day, Polish Diaspora recognizes millions of Poles and people of Polish heritage living abroad, whose contributions help sustain and promote Polish culture around the world.
