The Polish American Congress (PAC) is a national umbrella organization representing at least 10 million Americans of Polish descent and origin. It is a federation of more than 3,000 Polish American organizations, clubs, and veterans’ groups. The PAC promotes civic, educational, and cultural programs designed to further knowledge of Polish history, language, and culture.

Historia

The PAC was established in 1944 and has been serving the Polish American community since then. It is a New York State not-for-profit corporation and is qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Struktura

The organization is divided into 29 State Divisions and nine Chapters, with offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C. The governing body is the Council of National Directors, and the Executive Committee conducts day-to-day operations.

The PAC is involved in various activities, including advocacy for Polish Americans, promoting Polish culture, and supporting educational initiatives. It relies on public donations to continue its work.
