Richard Owsiany Represents the PMA at Meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski

The Polish Museum of America (PMA) was pleased to be represented by PMA President Richard Owsiany at a public meeting held on July 14 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley, California, featuring Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Radosław Sikorski. The event brought together more than 500 attendees, including members of the Polish-American community in California. During the hour-long discussion, Minister Sikorski spoke about President Ronald Reagan’s role in supporting the struggle against communism in Poland and answered questions from the audience on variety of topics, including the current situation in Ukraine, international affairs, Poland’s economy, its presidency of the G20, his career as a journalist in Afghanistan, and his perspectives on Poland’s future and global changes.
