A Memorable Evening Honoring Andrzej Wajda at the American Polish Cultural Center

The American Polish Cultural Center hosted a special Movie Night on April 18, 2026, featuring a screening of *Afterimage* (Powidoki) in honor of the 100th birth anniversary of legendary Polish filmmaker Andrzej Wajda. The event brought together community members for a celebration of Polish cinema and culture, reflecting both cultural pride and community connection. The program was made possible through partnerships with the American Polish Cultural Society, The Kosciuszko Foundation Michigan Chapter, and the Polish-American Federal Credit Union. Guests enjoyed unique desserts provided by Tiny Indulgence, and the event was opened by distinguished speakers including George Kurzatkowski, Barbara Wisniewski, Annette Raczkowski, and Richard Walawender.
