About Us

Dr. Halina Stec, M.D. is the founder of Vitae Healthcare Center in Stamford, Connecticut. She graduated from the Medical Academy in Lublin, Poland, and obtained a certification in ophthalmology. After arriving in the United States, she passed the required licensing exams and completed residency training in family medicine and anesthesiology.

Dr. Stec specializes in functional medicine, focusing on individuals suffering from painful chronic degenerative and autoimmune diseases, including gluten sensitivity and food allergies. Functional medicine aims to complement traditional medicine and create a better system of health, happiness, and well-being.
