About the Business

Małgorzata Zołek runs the Office of Psychotherapy and Personal Growth in New York. She is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of New York for mental health counseling (LMHC) and marital and family therapy (LMFT). She also holds an international certificate in addiction counseling (ICADC), a hypnotherapy certificate (CHt), current state certification in alcohol and drug counseling (CASAC), and advanced certifications in Reiki and the Silva Mind Control method.

Education and Experience

She graduated in psychology in Poland. She works as a psychotherapist at St. Mark’s Place Institute for Mental Health in New York. She runs a private practice with two locations: an office in Brooklyn on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and an office on Manhattan near Union Square in the building of the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. She has been an active member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) since 2003 – the largest and oldest organization of hypnotists in the world. She has experience in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and treatment of gambling and tobacco addiction. She has over 23 years of experience working with various human issues.

In her private practice, she offers psychodynamic psychotherapy, combining the individual, group, marital/partner, and family therapy models. She specializes in hypnotherapy. She accepts clients by appointment only.
