Polish Family Seeking CDPAP Worker for Housekeeping & Care

We are a Polish-speaking family looking for a CDPAP worker to help us with:

• Housekeeping
• Cleaning
• Cooking
• Ironing
• Occasional help with taking care of our disabled 7-year-old daughter.

This position is through a CDPAP Agency that pays $20.65/h (ppl). More hours are possible over time if interested.

Requirements:

• Green card/work permit/US Citizenship required (this is an on-the-books job, not cash)
• Medical screening and blood work for immunity for MMR and tuberculosis are required (the Agency pays for it, or you could use your own doctor)
• It would be great if the person has already been registered with ppl.

We are looking for someone for 1-2 days per week for about 6-8 hours/day on a regular basis. Occasional extra days and/or weekends are possible, so some flexibility would be appreciated.

The job is mainly to help around the house with cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, ironing, etc. However, the potential candidate needs to be comfortable staying and taking care of our disabled daughter when needed (she is disabled but not bed-bound; however, she needs to be changed, fed, lifted, and carried around as she is non-mobile and has an intellectual disability. She is also non-verbal).

Location: Middle Village, Queens, NY (close to the last stop of the M subway train - Metropolitan Station, bus stop around the corner).
