Support Bill HR 7361 - No Tax on Restored Benefits Act!

Bill HR 7361 amends the IRS tax code so that funds received under the Social Security Fairness Act, signed in January 2025, are not treated as taxable income. Remember, many Americans -- including the Polish community -- had their Social Security pensions reduced simply because they received a second pension not covered by the Social Security system. Poles living in the USA who received a Polish pension also had their Social Security benefits reduced for this reason. The Social Security Fairness Act returned to Americans funds that the Social Security Administration unfairly withheld in the previous year. This return of wrongfully withheld money should not be treated as taxable income.
