Polska Misja Katolicka Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej w Pompano Beach is a spiritual home for Poles in South Florida. The parish was established in 1983 and has since played an important role in the spiritual and cultural life of the local Polish community.
Mass Times
Masses are held at the church in Pompano Beach at 2400 NE 12th Street. On Sundays, masses are at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 6:00 PM. On weekdays, masses are on Mondays and Fridays at 7:00 PM, and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8:00 AM.
History
The parish has a rich history dating back to the beginnings of Polish pastoral care in the Archdiocese of Miami in 1958. In 1983, it was established as the Apostolate of Our Lady of Częstochowa, and in 1997, it was elevated to the status of Mission.
Communities and Sacraments
The parish offers various communities and ministries, including altar servers, lectors, the Live Rosary Circle, the Circle of God's Children, and coffee shop service. All sacraments are also offered, including baptism, First Holy Communion, confirmation, penance and reconciliation, the sacrament of the sick, priesthood, and marriage.
