About the restaurant

Solidarity Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant with a long tradition, founded by Polish chef Elina O’Lague in 1973 in Berkeley, and moved to Santa Monica in 1978. In 2016, it changed its name from Warszawa to Solidarity, referencing the Solidarity movement and the values of the local community.

Cuisine and menu

The restaurant offers authentic Polish dishes such as pierogi and hearty main courses, using local ingredients. The menu also includes plant-based options.

Solidarity has a patio and event space that can accommodate about 115 people for private events.
