St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Bridgeport, CT, has been a cornerstone of the Catholic Polish-American community in Fairfield County since 1899. The parish is served by the Conventual Franciscan Friars of the St. Maximilian Province from Gdańsk, Poland. The parish is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn, with a special chapel, the Ostrobramska Chapel, at its spiritual heart.
