About the Club
Yacht Klub Polski San Francisco (YKP San Francisco) was founded in November 2000 as a branch of the Warsaw Yacht Club. The club operates on an armator basis, organizing sailing trips on member yachts and chartered ones. The club does not have its own marina or club building, and meetings take place at members' homes or rented rooms.
Activities
The club organizes sailing trips mainly in the San Francisco Bay and oceanic ones along the coasts of California. Club members also participate in sailing trips on the Pacific, Atlantic, and inland waters. The club offers sailing training and organizes social events such as picnics, ski trips, and costume balls.
History
The first club meeting took place on November 11, 2000, in Pittsburgh, California. The club was registered as a corporation in the state of California on November 11, 2001.
Credibility and Reviews
The club is a member of Polish Yachting Association of Northern America (PYANA) and cooperates with other Polish sailing clubs in North America.
