We are looking for a maintenance specialist / maintenance technician

Job summary:
Modern Recycled Spaces - specializes in renovating commercial buildings for rent as offices, warehouses, industrial units, art studios, and more. We are looking for a reliable and skilled maintenance specialist / maintenance technician to assist with maintenance and repair tasks in several commercial buildings.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a specialist or in maintenance
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in property maintenance
• Basic knowledge of HVAC
• Experience working in commercial buildings

Responsibilities:

• Performing general maintenance and repair work (doors, locks, drywall, flooring, etc.)
• Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, faucets, toilets)
• Basic electrical work (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
• Repairing and maintaining doors, windows, and equipment
• Painting, patching walls, and minor carpentry work
• Assisting with building inspections and preventive maintenance
• Responding to maintenance requests from tenants
• Coordinating with contractors as needed
• Keeping maintenance areas clean and organized
• Reporting larger repair issues to management
