Copyright & Content

1. About this page
This page explains where the content on informacja.com comes from, on what basis we use it, and how a rights holder can reach us.
If you own rights in something and believe it appears here improperly, write to us directly. We respond promptly, there is no charge, and you do not need an agent or a third-party portal.
2. Our own content
Our guides, editorial descriptions, directory structure, site layout, source code and the graphics we produce belong to the site's operator.
You are welcome to link to any page on the site. Quoting short extracts with attribution and a link is welcome.
3. How the news section works
The News section takes the form of a short, automatically generated daily digest. On a schedule, the system reads RSS feeds that publishers make publicly available and then writes its own few-sentence summaries of the main topics.
In practice this means:
- The published text is written by our system in its own words – it is not a copy of publishers' headlines or articles.
- The summaries convey facts only – events, decisions, figures – not anyone else's form of expression.
- We publish no publisher or agency photographs (see section 4) and no article text.
- We are not a publisher – we do not produce original reporting.
- All rights in the source material remain with the publishers and authors.
If you are a publisher and do not want us to read your RSS feed, write to us and we will remove it from our sources.
4. We do not publish third-party photographs
Informacja.com does not display photographs originating from external news outlets or photo agencies. This applies site-wide, without exception.
We do not store, copy, cache or process image files belonging to publishers or agencies.
Photographs on the site come from two sources only: material we produce ourselves, and material submitted by users together with their confirmation that they hold the necessary rights (see section 5).
5. User-submitted content
Classified adverts, events, business listings, reviews and any images attached to them are submitted by users. In posting them, the user confirms that they hold the rights to that material or have permission to use it.
We cannot independently verify the rights in every item submitted. If user-submitted material infringes your rights, report it and we will remove it.
6. Reporting a copyright concern
Please contact us directly. Reporting is free and requires no lawyer and no third-party portal.
To help us act quickly, please include:
- A description of the work – exactly what is protected (for example, a specific photograph or text).
- The exact URL of the page on our site where the material appears.
- The basis of your rights – whether you are the author, the rights owner, or acting on someone's behalf.
- Contact details – an email address for correspondence.
- A statement that the report is made in good faith and that the information given is accurate.
What we do on receiving a report:
- We acknowledge receipt.
- We review it and, where the report is well founded, remove the material promptly – normally within a few business days.
- We tell the reporter what action was taken.
- Where necessary we block the source so the material does not reappear.
Removing material at your request is not an admission of liability on our part.
