Event Description

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Gunnersbury Cemetery in London, anniversary ceremonies took place for the 50th anniversary of the unveiling of the Katyn Monument. This place, which annually gathers representatives of the most important Polish organizations and institutions in the United Kingdom, commemorates the 22,000 Poles murdered by the NKWD through symbolic flower-laying ceremonies. The representatives of the Polish Social and Cultural Centre (POSK) who participated in the ceremonies included POSK President Marcin Kalinowski, Director of the Polish Library POSK, Dr. Dobrosława Platt, and Wiktor Moszczyński, Director of Image and Communication.
