Education and Experience

Dr Stec graduated from the Medical University in Lublin, Poland, and obtained a certificate in ophthalmology. After moving to the United States, she passed the required license exams and completed residency in family medicine and anesthesiology. She opened a general practice, then underwent extensive training in anti-aging medicine through A4M and the Institute of Functional Medicine. With over 30 years of clinical experience, she regularly attends conferences on alternative and functional medicine.

Transition to Functional Medicine

Her interest in functional medicine began more than a decade ago when she herself experienced a decline in health and chronic fatigue. Traditional methods did not help, which prompted her to seek alternatives. She discovered the effectiveness of functional and biomedical approaches that were not taught during medical studies. After applying these methods to herself, she decided to gradually transform her practice towards functional medicine.
