Professor Steven Kossard
Professor Steven Kossard is the director of dermatopathology at Kossard Dermatopathologists. He graduated from medicine at the University of Sydney, obtained his doctorate in melanoma unit under the supervision of Professor Gerry Milton, and completed training in clinical dermatology and dermatopathology at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney and Mayo Clinic in the USA. In 1980, he founded the dermatopathology unit at Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia, where he worked for 35 years as director. Professor Kossard is the author of over 160 scientific publications and introduced many widely recognized concepts in dermatopathology.
