About the school
Polish School of Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Clearwater has been operating since 1982. Classes take place every Saturday from September to May at the Polish Center im. John Paul II. The school offers learning of the Polish language, history, geography, and religion.
History
The school was founded thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Hanna Kolanko and Mrs. Teresa Shahriari. Initially, classes were held at the St. Jerome Parish Center in Largo.
Curriculum
The program includes early childhood education, courses for the First Holy Communion, and courses in Polish as a foreign language for youth and adults.
Faculty
The school employs educated teachers who implement many interesting educational projects.
Credibility and reviews
The school is registered with the Central Office of Polish Supplementary Schools in America and belongs to the Center for Development of Polish Education Abroad.
