History
Erich H. Weber, the founder of the bakery, arrived in Chicago from Germany in 1924. The first bakery was opened in 1930 at the corner of 45th and Kedzie. In 1979, the bakery moved to its current location at 7055 W. Archer Avenue. The bakery is now run by the third generation of the Weber family.
