After every move a new tile appears on a random empty cell — a 2 in 90% of cases, a 4 in the remaining 10%.
Each merge scores points equal to the value of the new tile. The total is your score, and your best record is saved in your browser.
When you build the 2048 tile you win — but you can keep playing to score even more points.
The game ends when the board is full and no move is possible. Use the "New game" button to start over.
