On the road (5 lanes), avoid the cars and trucks — a collision with a vehicle costs a life. The green median strip in the middle is safe.
On the river you must stand on a log or a turtle group — the current carries you along with it. Falling into the water, drifting off the board, or standing on turtles that have just dived ends the attempt.
Jump into the empty home bays on the far bank: a bay is worth 50 points plus a bonus for remaining time, and a fly in a bay adds an extra 200 points. An occupied bay or the bank between bays costs a life.
Every forward hop (first time you reach a row) scores 10 points. Filling all 5 bays scores 1000 points and starts a faster level with less time.
