How do you play Lander online?

Rotate the craft with the left and right arrows and brake your fall with the main engine (up arrow) — or use the A/D/W keys or the on-screen buttons on your phone. Gravity pulls the craft down constantly and fuel is limited. Touch down gently with the whole craft on a flat pad: vertical and horizontal speed must be low and the craft nearly upright — the readouts turn green when you are within the safe limits.

How is the score calculated in Lander?

Every safe landing scores 50 points times the pad multiplier: from ×2 for the widest pad to ×5 for the narrowest (the multiplier is printed on the pad). On top of that you get a bonus for the fuel left in the tank. After each landing a new terrain is generated with less fuel and slightly stronger gravity, and a crash costs one of your three landers.

A safe landing needs low vertical speed, low horizontal speed and a nearly upright craft — the speed readouts turn green when you are within the safe limits.
Set the whole craft down on a flat, highlighted pad. Narrower pads score a higher multiplier: from ×2 (widest) to ×5 (narrowest). Points: 50 × multiplier + fuel bonus.
