Driver Wanted on Call in NYC - Part-Time Job

Driver wanted on call/part-time for occasional driving in NYC. We are a visiting doctors service in NYC and need a driver on call/part-time for weekdays and weekends to cover vacations, sick days, and other absences. Availability on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) is required, no lifting, carrying, or any heavy work, just driving. The suitable candidate must have their own car with a working charger for phones/tablets/smartphones, as well as a GPS unit as a backup. The driver will work as an independent contractor (1099 form). The pay is $24/hour, plus trip fees and congestion charges, paid via direct deposit on a bi-weekly payment cycle. The driver is responsible for their own fuel costs. The job does not require intensive driving all day. The driver will pick up the provider mainly in Brooklyn or Queens, drive to a smaller designated area in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, or Bronx (excluding Staten Island), where the provider will see twelve patients in their homes, and then drive the doctor back home.
