Looking for a CDPAP worker to help at home and take care of our child

Polish-speaking family is looking for a CDPAP worker to help with: – cleaning – cooking – ironing – occasional care for our disabled 7-year-old daughter.

This position is through an agency, which pays $20.40 per hour. A green card, work permit, or US citizenship is required because this is a legal job, not under the table.

A medical checkup and blood tests for MMR and tuberculosis immunity are also required; the agency covers these costs, or you can use your own doctor.

We are flexible and looking for someone available 2-4 workdays per week, for about 10-40 hours per week on a regular basis. This can be part-time or more regular work, depending on the candidate's availability.

Occasionally, additional evenings and/or weekends may also be available.

The work mainly involves helping at home: cleaning, cooking, and ironing. We prefer someone who can cook Polish and Italian dishes. The candidate must also be comfortable with taking care of our disabled daughter when needed.

The daughter is not bedridden but is mobile and has intellectual disability. She needs help with: – changing – feeding – lifting – carrying – she is mute.
