Looking for a babysitter for a 6-year-old child in Maspeth, Queens

We are looking for a responsible, punctual and warm babysitter to take care of our 6-year-old child in Maspeth, Queens. We value stability and cooperation that will help us with daily school logistics and take care of the little one after classes.

Main duties: – Morning drop-off: work starts at exactly 7 am. – Helping the child get ready for school and then walking them to school at 8 am (5 minutes from home). – Sick day care: in case of the child's illness and inability to go to school, full-time care may be required – from 7 am to 5 pm (to be agreed upon). – Afternoon pickup: picking up the child from school at 2 pm. – After-school care: heating up a previously prepared lunch, ensuring order and hygiene after coming back from school. – Time organization: creative play at home or spending time outdoors in the backyard, helping with homework. – Light housekeeping: keeping the child's play area clean, clearing the dishes after the child's meal.

Requirements: – Experience in caring for school-aged children (references will be an additional advantage). – Absolute punctuality and high sense of responsibility. – A non-smoking, cheerful and energetic person who can easily establish contact with a 6-year-old. – Good work organization and diligence.

Employment details: – Location: Maspeth, Queens, NY (preferably someone from the area). – Work days: Monday to Friday. – Salary: to be agreed upon (attractive hourly or weekly rate, depending on experience). – Start date: the last week of September 2026.
