Greenpoint / Williamsburg – young couple is looking for a permanent home. We are looking for an apartment from a local host, not from a big company. We are a couple who has lived in Greenpoint for 10 years, and this winter we are expecting our first child. A few words about us: – He is an FDNY firefighter and has always been a handyman. – She has been working in the New York cultural and arts sector for almost fifteen years and volunteers in local organizations, including North Brooklyn Angels and NYC Parks.

We are a calm, responsible, working family with very good income, credit history, and references. What we are looking for: – Ground floor apartment – 3 bedrooms (we are flexible if the apartment is exceptional) – Garden, basement, or garage – any would be a big plus

Long-term lease – we are starting a family here and want to stay in this area for years. We have been homeowners before and have a full set of tools to prove it. We do minor repairs ourselves and from our own experience, we know how much work it takes to maintain a building. We are tenants who make life easier for the landlord. We are in no rush. We currently live near McGolrick Park and are patiently waiting for the right apartment and the right host, whether it’s today or a year from now. Reliable tenants are looking for a similarly reliable host with whom we will build a good relationship for years.
