Hiring Experienced Carpenter at Beem NYC Inc

Beem NYC Inc. is looking for an experienced carpenter for a leadership position to join our construction team and oversee daily operations on construction sites related to interior renovations throughout NYC. The lead carpenter will be responsible for:
– Coordinating activities on the construction site
– Supervising employees and subcontractors
– Performing carpentry work
– Maintaining quality and safety standards
– Organizing projects and meeting deadlines

This position requires active leadership, strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to take responsibility for a project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
– Leading daily operations on the construction site and coordinating subcontractors, craftsmen, and workers
– Performing and supervising finishing work, demolition, installation, construction, and general construction tasks
– Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
– Coordinating materials, deliveries, labor, tools, and logistics on the construction site
– Monitoring quality of work, project progress, schedule, and conditions on the construction site
– Identifying and resolving issues on the construction site and coordinating solutions with the project manager
– Daily communication regarding progress, material needs, schedule, and issues
– Maintaining cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and safety on the construction site
– Leading and mentoring carpenters and workers as needed
– Ensuring that work is performed according to plans, specifications, and Beem NYC quality standards.

Requirements:
– 5+ years of professional experience in construction/carpentry; experience in a leadership or foreman role is a plus
– Strong experience in apartment renovations and finishing work
– Ability to read plans and execute work accurately
– Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination of craftsmen
– Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
– Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
– Experience in construction in NYC is required.
