Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior foreman to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the metal and glass industry who wants to transition into a leadership role. You will work closely with senior foremen, project managers, and installation teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising workers during processing.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to project plans and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and management.
- Assist in monitoring on-site inventory and materials.
- Support quality control and final inspections.
- Learn and develop under the mentorship of seniors.
- Maintain high standards of quality control in all aspects of metal and glass processing.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of the project to ensure work meets company and client specifications.
- Read and interpret workshop drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Assist in monitoring progress on the construction site, managing schedules, and coordinating material deliveries.
Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in the metal and glass industry (installation or processing).
- Strong understanding of construction tools, materials, and techniques.
- Leadership potential with good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and plans.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- SST certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain it).
