👾 Invaders
← All gamesPlay Invaders online for free — a classic retro pixel-art arcade fixed shooter. A fleet of 55 aliens in five rows marches from edge to edge, stepping down after every bounce — and the fewer of them remain, the faster they march. You drive the cannon at the bottom of the screen: slide left and right and shoot (only one of your bullets can be in the air at a time — the classic rule). Four shield bunkers crumble chunk by chunk under fire from both sides, and a bonus saucer worth 50 to 300 points crosses the top of the battlefield from time to time. Play with the arrow keys and space bar, with the mouse, or by touch on your phone. Your best score is saved in your browser.
How to play
- Move the cannon with the left/right arrows (or the A/D keys) and shoot with the space bar. You can also steer with the mouse (move it over the board) or drag your finger on a phone — tapping the board fires, and there are touch buttons under the board.
- Only one of your bullets can be in the air at a time — you can fire again only after the previous shot hits or leaves the board. Aim carefully!
- Alien points depend on the row: the top row scores 30 points, the two middle rows 20 each, and the two bottom rows 10 each. The bonus saucer crossing the top is worth 50 to 300 points.
- Four green bunkers shield you from enemy fire, but they crumble chunk by chunk — both alien bullets and your own shots erode them, and the marching fleet simply bulldozes through them.
- The fewer invaders remain, the faster they march. When the fleet reaches a screen edge it steps down one row — if it reaches your cannon, the game is over.
- You have 3 lives. Clear the board and the next level begins: the fleet starts lower, marches faster and shoots more often. Pause: the P key or Escape.
