Richard Owsiany Represents the PMA at Meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski

The Polish Museum of America (PMA) was pleased to be represented by PMA President Richard Owsiany at a public meeting held on July 14 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley, California, featuring Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Radosław Sikorski. The event brought together more than 500 attendees, including members of the Polish-American community in California. During the hour-long discussion, Minister Sikorski spoke about President Ronald Reagan’s role in supporting the struggle against communism in Poland and answered questions from the audience on a variety of topics, including the current situation in Ukraine, international affairs, Poland’s economy, its presidency of the G20, his career as a journalist in Afghanistan, and his perspectives on Poland’s future and global changes.
