Event Description
On May 3, 1791, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth adopted one of the world’s first modern constitutions - an effort to strengthen the state, expand civic responsibility, and reform political life. Today, the Polish Museum of America commemorates this milestone as part of a shared Polish and Polish American heritage. It remains a reminder of the enduring importance of thoughtful governance and civic engagement.
