Family from Westport, CT looking for an energetic person for long-term cooperation

We are looking for a warm, energetic person to join our growing family in Westport, CT for the long term, starting at the end of July or the beginning of August. We have a 14-month-old son and are expecting a second child in October. We want you to see this role as a home, not just a job.

Job Information:

• Type: On-site work with private accommodation
• Hours: 50 hours per week, approximately 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with meal breaks
• Salary: $25/hour with paid overtime for childcare or hours outside the normal schedule

Responsibilities:

• Keeping the house tidy (cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens, washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness)
• Light childcare (mom is at home and handles the primary care, but we need additional help)
• Light cooking (preparing simple family meals 1-2 times a week, we do not require anything fancy)

Who we are looking for:

• An energetic person who cares about cleanliness and order in the home
• Someone who enjoys being around children and feels comfortable with a small child nearby
• A person who communicates in English (it does not have to be your first language)
• Someone looking for long-term work and wants to feel at home
• A driver's license is a big bonus, but not required

A few additional details:

• We will set the schedule together and will not combine childcare with heavy cleaning on the same day, you will always know what to expect.
• We are laid-back, communicative, and truly value those who are part of our household.
