Hiring a driver/laborer for full-time work in construction

General contractor is looking for a driver/laborer for full-time work to pick up materials from local suppliers and deliver them to various construction sites. Requirements:

• availability to start work at 9:00 AM
• clean, valid driver's license
• knowledge of NYC and Long Island areas
• knowledge of construction materials
• ability to lift heavy objects
• experience and ability to tow a trailer.

Job description:

• estimating and ordering construction materials
• picking up materials from suppliers and delivering them to construction sites
• driving the vehicle when necessary
• assisting other workers with external services
• general cleaning of facilities
• helping with receiving and loading deliveries
• maintaining order at the workplace
• storing tools and equipment in appropriate places
• distributing tools and equipment
• performing all tasks efficiently, accurately, and on time.
