"Make it cinematic" sounds good, but it says little to the generator. A cinematic image arises from specific decisions: where the character stands, what is visible in the background, where the light comes from, which parts are sharp, and what movement a single frame suggests. Below you will find 27 visual directions with original examples and prompts in Polish. You can start with one and then consciously combine up to two.
Important: names starting with / are convenient labels for your own templates. They are not universal commands in ChatGPT, Higgsfield, or any other generator. Copy the full prompt, change the character and location, and then adjust the image proportions. The illustrations are original conceptual images, not frames from a finished film.
First, establish five things
- Subject: one person, product, or scene. Provide the age of the adult character, clothing, and a distinctive feature.
- Frame: portrait from the shoulders, waist shot, or full silhouette. Specify whether the head, hands, and shoes should fit in the image.
- Location: specific background elements, not just "luxurious interior."
- Light: indicate the source and direction, for example, a window on the left and a lamp behind.
- Priority: decide what the viewer should notice first. Too many effects at once weaken the image.
In the prompts, we use fictional adult characters and clothing without brands. If you are creating a series with the same person, confirm their reference image and include it in subsequent generations. The identical text phrase alone is usually not enough to maintain the same facial features. Our character card guide is helpful.
[Adult character and fixed features] in [specific location], dressed in [clothing and materials]. Frame [frame boundaries and perspective], [main action]. Visual direction: [one style from the list below]. Light [source, direction, effect on face and background]. Palette [2–3 colors], texture [material, grain, reflections]. Keep [important elements]. Without [typical mistakes]. Proportions [e.g., 4:5 or 9:16].
1. Editorial Fashion and Location
01 · Levitation – /lewitacja
Purpose: a surreal fashion photo where clothing and a few objects appear weightless. It works better when the number of floating items is small and the light direction remains consistent.

Original fashion photograph 4:5. An adult woman with short dark curls in a cobalt suit and cream blouse is levitating half a meter above the matte floor of a dark studio. One leg slightly bent, the jacket and hair arrange as if in slow weightless motion. Three paper spheres and a single ribbon float nearby. Soft light from the left, gentle shadow under the figure, natural texture of the face and fabric. The entire head, hands, and shoes fit in the frame. No additional people, text, or randomly flying objects.
02 · Street and Flash – /paparazzi
Purpose: the energy of a spontaneously captured moment. The key is credible reflections, an unposed face, and a slightly imperfect frame; the mere presence of a photographer in the background is not enough.

A rainy night street, an adult woman in a graphite suit exits an unmarked building and glances to the side for a moment. Knee shot, frame slightly shifted as if the photographer took the picture in motion. Two distant cameras flash behind her; a short flash brightens the face, sleeve, and wet sidewalk tiles, while the storefronts remain dim. Realistic reflections, fine grain, natural skin. No recognizable celebrity, logos, red carpet, or additional flashes obscuring the face.
03 · Paper Whirl from Above – /papierowy-wir
Purpose: a graphic poster or cover. Position the camera directly above the scene and specify how many sheets should lie down and how many should float in the air to avoid chaos in the composition.
Top-down photo, camera perpendicular to a light stone floor. An adult woman in a black simple coat stands in the center, looking up. Around her lie six large sheets of blank cream paper; four more sheets float at different heights, casting separate soft shadows. One window on the right creates a clear light direction. The entire silhouette and margin of the floor are visible. No text on the sheets, overlapping limbs, or slanted camera perspective.
04 · Analog Eighties – /analog-80
Purpose: to suggest an era through clothing, palette, and medium. Add grain and light flare as minor features of the photograph; a strong orange overlay will not replace the set design.
Editorial portrait of an adult man at the entrance of a small cinema in 1986: loose jacket with wide shoulders, faded navy and brown, paper ticket in hand, blurred bulbs above the entrance. The photo on color 35mm film, moderate visible grain, soft focus at the edges, gentle light leak in one corner. Warm skin, calm expression. No modern phone, contemporary cars, fake date, or large texts.
05 · Double Exposure – /podwojna-ekspozycja
Purpose: two images telling one thought. Clearly indicate which silhouette is the base, where the second image should appear, and whether the face should remain readable.
Profile of an adult woman against a dark background, from the shoulders up, nose and eye sharp. Inside the outline of her hair and jacket is blended a second image: an empty mountain road in the fog at dawn, with a small light in the distance. The face remains the main readable layer, the landscape does not extend beyond the silhouette except for a delicate streak at the shoulder. Cool blue and warm skin tone, subtle grain. No second face, additional eyes, or random collage.
06 · Coastal Fashion – /nadmorski-edytorial
Purpose: a calm story about the place and wardrobe. Instead of a general "luxurious resort," name the material of the terrace, wind direction, and what is visible on the horizon.
An adult woman in a light linen dress and flat sandals stands on a limestone terrace by the sea, holding a straw hat at her side. Full silhouette shot, low horizon, and a large space of calm sky. The sun just before sunset from the left, a thin light contour on the shoulder, cooler shadow under the pergola, a light breeze lifts the edge of the dress. Matte colors of sand and water, realistic texture of linen. No advertising logo, excessive tan, or additional beachgoers.
07 · Fashion and Architecture – /moda-architektura
Purpose: the building leads the eye to the figure. First, choose a dominant geometric shape, and only then the model's position within that geometry.

Full-length photo of an adult woman in a sculptural ivory coat by large fluted columns and wide concrete stairs of a contemporary museum. The figure is on the left side of the frame, the lines of the stairs lead from the bottom right to her face. Side afternoon light brings out the texture of the concrete and fabric. Show the scale of the building, but keep the face readable, whole shoes, and breath above the head. No distorted steps, fake signs, or random crowds.
08 · Modern Editorial – /nowy-edytorial
Purpose: contemporary cover energy without copying an existing magazine. One strong color and one deliberate gesture give more than a list of trendy effects.
An adult model in a stiff red jacket and simple black pants stands against a warm gray studio wall. Knee shot, weight on one leg, hand adjusting the collar. Large soft light from the front left and a narrow shadow on the background, precise composition with free space above the right shoulder. Natural skin, clear seam of the jacket, only red, graphite, and gray. No texts, brands, artificial skin smoothing, or unnecessary props.
2. Portrait and Campaign
09 · Premium Campaign – /kampania-premium
Purpose: an advertising image where material and craftsmanship are the heroes. Replace "expensive" with light, surface detail, and order in the frame.
Advertising photo of a fictional leather bag without a logo on a light travertine block. The bag in dark brown smooth leather, visible even seams, matte metal clasp, and natural folds of the material. 4:5 composition, the object occupies two-thirds of the frame; soft light from a large window on the left, thin reflection on the clasp, gentle contact shadow. Background in warm gray. No texts, additional bags, hands, or incorrect fittings.
10 · Film-like Portrait – /portret-filmowy
Purpose: the emotion of one person. Pay attention to the gaze, contrast between the face and background, and real light source.
Intimate portrait of an adult woman sitting by the window of a night train, from the shoulders up. She looks at her reflection in the glass, slightly tired but calm. Cool city light enters from the right, a small warm lamp in the carriage illuminates her cheek from the left, the background is soft, and her eyes remain sharp. Natural skin pores, subtle grain, realistic reflection without a second face. No theatrical crying, text, or beautifying filter.
11 · Fashion Cover – /okladka-mody
Purpose: a frame designed for later graphic layout. The generator does not need to write the magazine name; leave space, and add typography in the editor.
Vertical cover portrait of an adult woman in a structured black dress, from mid-thigh up, confident calm pose, direct gaze into the lens. Light gray uniform background, high soft light from the front and gentle contour from the left. The entire head is visible, 20% clear space above her and free margins for later headlines. Hands naturally placed, clear fabric texture. The image itself without letters, issue number, logo, or recognizable cover.
12 · Cyber Fashion – /cybermoda
Purpose: bold futuristic outfit. Name the actual materials and sources of illumination; otherwise, the generator often turns the clothing into shapeless neon.
An adult model in a black technical coat with translucent panels and a thin line of fiber optics running down one sleeve, standing in an empty passage of a future station. Knee shot, raw aluminum and glass in the background. Cool light from ceiling panels, one violet reflection on the edge of the coat, face in natural colors. Readable construction of the clothing and hands. No superhero armor, glowing eyes, holographic texts, or excessive neons.
13 · Discreet Elegance – /dyskretna-elegancja
Purpose: muted fashion based on cut and texture, not on the display of wealth. A consistent palette and real materials are more important here than a palace background.
Portrait of an adult man in a well-tailored navy wool coat and light shirt, in a quiet library with wooden shelves. Waist shot, sitting at a simple table with a closed book, looking beyond the frame. Soft daylight from the window on the right, calm browns, navy, and cream, visible wool weave. No ostentatious jewelry, brand emblem, gold decorations, or unnaturally perfect skin.
14 · Noir Portrait – /portret-noir
Purpose: tension built by shadow. Control which side of the face the light falls on, rather than just asking for a black-and-white image.

Black and white portrait of an adult woman in a dark coat, standing by a window with blinds in a modest room. Shoulder shot, gaze beyond the lens. One hard lamp outside the window casts narrow parallel stripes on the wall and left cheek; the right half of the face sinks into deep but not completely black shadow. Wet glass, realistic skin, subtle grain. No cigarette, weapon, random light streaks, or contemporary neons.
15 · Glass in Studio – /szklane-studio
Purpose: a modern space with transparent layers. Decide what is glass, what is reflection, and where the person stands; do not ask for "glassmorphism" without objects.
Portrait of an adult designer in a cream suit in a bright studio with two vertical panes of smoky glass set in front and behind her. Waist shot; the face is visible without distortion through the gap between the panes. Soft light from the left, subtle reflections only on the edges of the glass, gray floor, and neutral background. Layers provide depth, but hands and eyes remain readable. No double limbs, floating interfaces, or texts.
3. Surrealism and Movement
16 · Dreamy Scene – /senna-scena
Purpose: an image with one impossible element that still has its own logic. It’s better to keep one person and one surreal idea than to mix all effects at once.
An adult woman in a green coat stands in the middle of an empty museum hall, from which a single inverted pane of a calm lake hangs from the ceiling. The lamps of the hall reflect in its surface, and small droplets hang beneath the pane. Wide shot, the figure occupies one-third of the height of the frame, looking up. Cool light from the lake falls on her face, the rest of the hall is illuminated by warm wall fixtures. Realistic materials and coherent shadows. No additional landscapes, duplicating the person, or random objects.
17 · Stopped Runway – /wybieg-stopklatka
Purpose: to show the power of the silhouette in a single moment of a step. The frame must simultaneously show the outfit and movement, so secure the hands and shoes.
Fictional fashion show, an adult model in a dark green asymmetrical dress captured mid-step on a matte runway. The camera is low and slightly to the side, the entire silhouette from the top of the head to both shoes in the frame. One spotlight from the front brings out the structure of the dress, the audience remains softly blurred, the material moves with the step. Sharp face, natural body proportions. No third leg, many models in the foreground, or sponsor texts.
18 · Premium Minimalism – /minimalizm-premium
Purpose: one object in a calm space. Empty space is intentional, but the object needs shadow and material to avoid looking cut out from the background.
A small ceramic perfume bottle without a label stands on a single light stone pedestal in a vast beige studio. 4:5 frame, the bottle in the lower center, large clear space above it. Soft light from a high window on the right, subtle contact shadow, and barely visible texture of the plaster. Colors: ivory, sand, muted gold. No second product, random jewelry, logo, or artificial shine.
19 · Archive of the Future – /archiwum-przyszlosci
Purpose: to combine the language of old photography with one element of speculative design. The contrast of eras should be readable but not look like a random science fiction sticker.
Group portrait of three fictional adult designers in a workshop in 2080 photographed like a found print from a family archive: simple poses, slightly faded paper, subtle grain, and uneven edges of the photo. On the table lies one transparent computing module with visible layers, the remaining items are ordinary. Warm light from the window, sepia tones broken by the cool light of the module. All faces different and recognizable. No unreadable signatures or futuristic city in the background.
20 · Controlled Motion Blur – /ruch-w-modzie
Purpose: to suggest speed while leaving the viewer a point of reference. Specify what remains sharp and what can blur.
An adult woman in a red coat quickly walks through an empty train station hall. The camera stands still, knee shot. Her face and the front flap of the coat remain readable, the back edge of the material and passing lights in the background create short directional horizontal streaks. Cold ceiling light, one warm advertisement out of focus. Photographic blur resulting from motion, not a digital filter over the entire image. No blurred eyes, additional hands, or duplicated silhouette.
21 · Chrome and Reflections – /chrom-i-odbicia
Purpose: a metallic space where reflections provide depth. Models can easily confuse how many people there are, so name the number of sculptures and say that their reflections show the same person.

An adult model in a warm gray simple suit stands on a shallow mirrored floor in a large dark studio. Around her hang three smooth, irregular sculptures made of polished chrome; each shows a distorted reflection of the same person and one large light source from the left. Full silhouette shot, face outside the reflections readable and sharp. Palette of silver, graphite, and a touch of amber. No additional figure, metallic skin, texts, or nonsensical reflections.
4. Scenic Worlds
22 · Desert Fashion – /moda-pustynia
Purpose: to utilize the scale of the landscape, wind, and sculpting light. The clothing should have a reason to move in a certain way.
An adult woman in a long ink-blue coat stands on the crest of a sand dune at sunset. Wide 16:9 shot, figure on the right, gentle shadow of the dune on the left and distant horizon. Wind from the left lifts only the back of the coat and fine sand by her shoes. Low light creates a thin golden outline, the face remains slightly illuminated by the reflection from the sand. No sandstorm obscuring the outfit, fantastic ruins, or additional silhouettes.
23 · Urban Fashion Reportage – /miejski-reportaz
Purpose: spontaneity of the street without the impression of a staged session. Street traffic should be the background, not a competition for the hero.
Early evening on a street with a tram in the background. An adult woman in an olive jacket and white shirt exits a small café, adjusting her bag strap. The photographer stands a few meters to the side; knee shot, figure slightly off-center, face sharp, passing tram softly blurred. Real street lamp light mixes with the cool twilight. One distant photographer may be visible in the background. No flashes obscuring the face, foreign brands, or posed expressions.
24 · Mirror as a Second Frame – /lustro-edytorial
Purpose: to show two sides of the same character. Describe what the lens sees directly and what the mirror shows; the most common mistake is different faces or inconsistent outfits.
An adult woman in a burgundy blazer stands sideways to the camera in a bright dressing room, adjusting the cuff with her left hand. A large vertical mirror behind her shows the same face from the front and the same burgundy outfit; her profile is visible directly to the camera. Waist shot, soft light from the window on the left, gentle shadow of the frame. The reflection has logical perspective and exactly two visible hands. No second person, altered hairstyle, incorrect fingers, or unreadable texts on the mirror.
25 · Floating Studio – /unoszace-studio
Purpose: to isolate the chosen object in clean space. This is a close relative of levitation, but here the main character can be a product, and the person stands steadily.
In a warm gray studio, an adult model stands steadily in a simple black jumpsuit, extending an open hand. Above her, at different heights, float exactly three unmarked leather bags in caramel, burgundy, and dark green. Each has its own shape, correct handle, and soft shadow consistent with the large light from the right. Full silhouette shot with ample space, face and bags readable. No additional products, glued straps, or text.
26 · Portrait in Architecture – /portret-architektura
Purpose: to use the building as a frame for the portrait. It differs from the broad "fashion and architecture": the face has a higher priority than the scale of the place.
Portrait of an adult architect in a dark shirt on the terrace of a contemporary building. Chest-up shot; behind the head, repetitive concrete arches create a symmetrical frame but do not cut through the face. The camera at eye level, soft light from the open sky, gentle shadow under the arches, eyes sharp, background slightly softer. Gray of concrete and warm skin. No curved geometry, additional faces, or excessive blurring of the building.
27 · Retro Future – /retroprzyszlosc
Purpose: to juxtapose old materials and analog photography with one convincing future device. Let both eras share the light and scene.
Fictional portrait of an adult pilot in a 1970s leather jacket sitting in a small cabin of a future train. Analog Bakelite switches neighbor one flat transparent screen without readable letters. Warm light from bulbs on the face, cool light from the window, subtle grain of color film, and slightly faded colors. Waist shot, hands resting on a real control panel. No astronaut helmet, neon city, or stickers with random text.
How to Combine These Styles Without Mess?
Select one main style and possibly one supporting feature. Example: film portrait + double exposure means that the portrait establishes the light and emotion, while the landscape appears only within the silhouette. Fashion and architecture + premium minimalism means monumental geometry with a limited palette. Combining five labels without hierarchy usually results in an inconsistent compromise.
| Goal | Good Starting Point | What to Check After Generation |
|---|---|---|
| The person should be the most important | Film portrait, noir, fashion cover | Facial features, eyes, frame boundaries |
| Show clothing and movement | Runway, levitation, motion in fashion | Whole hands, shoes, way of arranging fabric |
| The place builds the story | Architecture, desert, coastal editorial | Scale of the figure, perspective, and light direction |
| Highlight the product | Premium campaign, minimalism, floating studio | Shape, seams, shadows, absence of fake logos |
When making a series, keep the same character reference, image proportions, and palette. For comparing styles, change one thing at a time: for example, the same character and frame in noir light, and then in a glass studio. This way, you will see whether the difference is created by light and space or if the model simply changed their face.
From Image to Short Video
A prompt for an image describes a single moment. A video requires action, time, and camera work. Do not transfer the entire list of embellishments unchanged. First, confirm the initial frame, then add one simple movement of the person and one movement of the camera. For example, for levitation:
Use the approved image as the first frame. For 5 seconds, the same adult woman in a cobalt suit slowly levitates about 20 cm, then stabilizes her position; the ribbon and three paper spheres react to the same gentle air movement. The camera remains in place and performs only a slight natural drift sideways. Keep the same face, outfit, number of props, dark studio, and light direction. One continuous shot, without cuts, text, new person, sudden acceleration, or change of perspective.
If you want the plan to change during the film, outline the shots and moments of cuts separately. When the clip has an existing montage, use the video editing tool and describe what can be changed and what must remain. Also, see our guide on focal lengths and framing and example of a fashion advertisement with six shots.
Quality Control Before Using the Image
- Enlarge the face and hands. Check the eyes, number of fingers, and consistency of reflections.
- Check the edges of the frame. If you need a full silhouette, do not accept cut-off shoes or hair.
- Trace the light. Shadow and shine should indicate the same sources throughout the scene.
- Remove random text. Invented signs on packaging and signs should be corrected in the editor or generate the image without them.
- Compare the series. The same person, clothing, and product must look consistent between images; choose the best reference before moving on.
The simplest test: take one of your own subjects and generate three versions with the same frame: natural editorial, noir, and levitation. Save which decision about light, background, and movement improved the effect. Then the names of the styles will become a tool for directing the image, not just an embellishment of the prompt.
